Artwood&Co was founded by Cosmin Costea, whose lifelong passion for woodworking was sparked in childhood. Raised in a home where his father maintained a fully equipped workshop, Cosmin grew up surrounded by the scent of fresh timber, the hum of tools, and the quiet rhythm of hands shaping wood. Fascinated by the process, he began helping with small tasks, gradually learning the patience and precision that true craftsmanship demands.
Over the years, Cosmin gained extensive experience working on major joinery and restoration projects across London, where he refined his skills and developed a critical eye for detail. Inspired by both the excellence and the imperfections he encountered, he felt a growing desire to bring his own ideas to life — to build without compromise, and to elevate every element of the craft. With Artwood&Co, he continues this legacy, creating bespoke joinery that blends timeless beauty with enduring quality, all rooted in his family’s love for working with real wood.
